This section of the website is still under development and in time, will aim to outline all of the  Victorian bioenergy plants that are currently operating across Victoria.

Sustainability Victoria produced a map and some information on Victorian biomass generators and their generating capacity. A link to Victorian bioenergy cogeneration and power only generators can be found at the folowing website but note it is has not been updated since 2005: http://www.sustainability.vic.gov.au/www/html/2101-operating-biomass-generators-in-victoria.asp

Another source of bioenergy generation figures for Victoria can be found at the Geoscience Australia website: http://www.ga.gov.au/renewable/

They will include projects that utilise methane captured and combusted from sewage treatment plants, landfill sites and anaerobic digestion facilities, as well as wood and agricultural residues combustion plants and other waste streams, such as black liquor, to energy projects. Transportation biofuel projects will also be outlined here.

Victorian bioenergy projects under development in Victoria are also outlined in this section though the reader should be aware that not all are listed and that this is constantly changing area.
